Our interiors advice and spatial planning service helps you make the most of your space, combining style with functionality. We assess layout, flow, and proportion to ensure every area feels balanced and purposeful. From furniture placement and lighting suggestions to material and colour guidance, we provide thoughtful, tailored recommendations that transform your space into one that feels cohesive, comfortable, and effortlessly designed.

Our project management service ensures your building or renovation works run smoothly from start to finish. We coordinate contractors, oversee timelines, and manage every detail to maintain quality and efficiency throughout the process. With clear communication and meticulous attention to detail, we handle the practicalities so you can focus on the creative vision — ensuring your project is completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standard.

About Us

Bunch & Bird was born after a bottle of wine and a shared frustration.  We couldn’t find well-made curtains that didn’t cost the earth. The options available seemed limited to either the ordinary and generic, or overpriced and out of reach, with little freedom to choose, so we decided to change that.

 We are Sophia (Bunch) & Tracey (Bird), and between us we have decades of experience in the property, design and textile worlds. 

 Sophia takes great pride in managing residential refurbishment projects from start to finish; her attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate teams, budgets and timelines effectively ensures every project is completed to the highest standard . Tracey possesses an extensive understanding of textiles and their suitability for various applications, paired with a genuine passion for designing spaces that balance functionality and beauty.

 Together we offer honest advice and truly understand our clients’ needs, which helps you choose what is right for your space to create interiors that feel both personal and purposeful.

  • We can come and measure up or are happy for you to do so, if you would like.  You would however, take responsibility for the curtains being the right size!

  • We will discuss all the options for suitable fabrics depending on what they are being used for.  We have numerous trade accounts with the major fabric houses, and will pass on some of the discount we receive so you are not paying full price.  Alternatively, you are welcome to provide your own fabric if you want.

  • We will give you a quote for the fabric once we know how much you will need.  We will also give you a separate quote for the making of your curtains.  Fitting is an additional cost as you may be happy to hang them yourselves.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Yes we can.  We can suggest a variety of different tracks and poles.

  • Of course!  We can discuss options for room layout, furniture, lighting and help you source items if necessary.

  • Absolutely.  If you’d like us to help you, we can discuss a fee for this.

  • Fabric is paid for upfront, and we ask 50% payment for the curtains when you accept the quote.  The balance of 50% is paid on installation/delivery.

  • We have worked with our seamstresses for many years.  They are third generation curtain-makers and do everything by hand.

  • Firstly, we need to make sure your fabric is in stock.  Once we have received the fabric, your curtains should be ready in 3-4 weeks. * If you would like us to fit your curtains, we need to book that in with our professional fitter.

    *Please be aware that during busy times of the year, ie the run up to Christmas, lead times may be longer.
